A 10-Month Block of the Month Quilt
I’m so excited to finally share that registrations are now open for my brand new Southern Skies Block of the Month program.
This is a 10-month, fully machine-pieced quilt designed to be made slowly and enjoyably, one block at a time.
Registrations are open from the 2nd of April and close on the 29th April 2026 - Midnight AEST
How it works
When you sign up, you’ll enter your payment details - but you won’t be charged straight away.
Your first payment will be processed on May 1, and then on the 1st of each month for 10 months.
Once you register, you’ll receive your Introduction and accompanying newsletter, which includes everything you need to get started: fabric requirements, planning tips and how the program will run.
Each month you’ll receive:
• That month’s block instructions (PDF)
• An accompanying newsletter with extra tips, guidance and helpful notes
• An accompanying newsletter with extra tips, guidance and helpful notes
Cost
• $10 AUD per month (approx. $8 USD)
• 10 months total
• Total program cost: $100 AUD (approx. $80 USD)

Quilt Size Options
There are two layout options included in the program:
Simple Sashing version
79½" x 79½"

Pieced Sashing version
90" x 90"

You don’t need to decide which version you’re making just yet - that comes later in the program.
About the Quilt
Southern Skies is designed to work beautifully with a wide range of fabrics. It’s perfect for using a mix of your favourite colours, scraps or a curated bundle.
All blocks are machine pieced, using techniques such as:
• Half Square Triangles
• No-waste Flying Geese
• No-waste Flying Geese
I’ll be sharing plenty of guidance along the way, and there will also be a wonderful community of quilters sewing alongside you.
